I tested today how this painting looks whit its box. I am still unsure should I put glass or not.

Folk high school lessons

Our local Folk high school gave a change to try scratching and acrylic painting. Results were great. Everyone chose picture they liked for practising. After few practice works, you can let your imagination to design the idea.

Dru Blair airbrushing workshops

After fifteen years wait and several months weekly checking it finally looks like, that I have a change to participate Dru Blairs wildlife painting workshop. Usually he teaches in his own airbrush art school, but this year he makes European tour. June 10th starts wildlife art workshop in Wolverhampton, England.

Work in progress: Illustrations and bird paintings

I work often with several paintings simultaneously. This saves mixed paints if there is leftover from one painting, it might be possible to use it in another. This unfinished illustration presents introduced waterfowl.

Colored pencil gives scale. Mandarine Duck and Wood Duck are 3,5 cm high. Eye has then diameter of bit more than 1mm!
